Tim McGee started listening to his muse later in his life. After nearly thirty years of working in a variety of corporate roles, McGee decided to give a voice to all those ideas that had been bouncing around in his head since he was young.
When asked by friends what he was doing after ‘retiring’ at 50' to write full-time, he replied:
“Telling lies in a completely acceptable format.”

Always a voracious reader, -- he can devour five books at a clip -- Tim always has a pile of books that give clues to eclectic tastes. Some of his favorite novels? Topping the list are To Kill a Mockingbird, East of Eden, The World According to Garp, Tuesdays with Morrie,
and anything written by Ian Rankin, Michael Connelly, or Agatha Christie.
Tim thinks there is nothing better than sitting on a stationary bike (his version of curling up in front of a fire), with a good book. Why a stationary bike? Well, he's got a sweet tooth the size of New Jersey and rationalizes that by exercising, he can eat that much more cake…
If you happen to run into the author -- and he appears standoffish -- just remember that authors tend to be reclusive. They spend so much time with their characters that it takes them a few minutes to warm up.
Just ask to take a selfie with him -- it might make him blush -- but he really enjoys meeting fellow bibliophiles or anyone who wants
to share an interesting story.
If he is still reluctant, feel free to beat him with an unabridged copy of Great Expectations (he'd appreciate the irony).
Rita Moreau, the author of the Ghost & Camper Kooky Mystery series, Carol J Perry, the author of Witch City Mysteries and Haunted Haven Mystery series, and Bonnie Sue Brandvik, author of the Spirits of the Belleview Biltmore novels, joined Tim for coffee in
